This project started on August 2, 2013 Which is one of the most complex projects of the reconstruction headquarters(Atabat).the project carried out by Iranian masters under supervision of reconstruction headquarters of Atabat.
One of the four minarets of the shrine tilted and it was probable that the damage could cause the minaret to fall, therefore the custodian of the holy shrine of Imam in Javadain was looking for a group of experts to control and stop the minaret from falling and implement a plan to strengthen it. Seeing the ability of Iranian engineers to implement the plan to strengthen and reduce the columns of the holy shrine of Imam Hussein, the custodian asked the reconstruction headquarters to carry out the project
Technical and engineering studies show that due to the looseness of the minaret, the risk of falling during the project is serious which shows the importance of the project.
due to its historical and traditional nature,the original minaret must be preserved,Therfore a special steel cladding structure(Support) was constructed to strengthen the minaret.
It is anticipated that according to the schedule, the revival and stabilization of this huge minaret will be completed by the end of this year.
